ok i have a laptop, well its my brothers, but i use it all the time. it is way faster than my computer which lags alot (not sure why either). my laptop now is not allowing me to log onto the internet. it has wireless connection but it is for my bro's school use not here at home. it also has a 1439 connection which i have no clue what it is, but its connected and i still get get on the net. now it also a local internet provider listed. this is not connected and i dont know how to connect it. that may not be the problem what is the problem is it tells me that the Network Cable is not plugged in. so this is my question: what is the network cable and how does this affect my laptop. sorry for the long wordage but im not a computer smart person.

run a disk defragmation and disk cleanup and go into run then reg edit and click ctrl+find then type is stuff that hes removed remove it and should run faster regedit is very risky but it works
