SleepersWhat is a Sleeper?A human with minimum spirit awareness; or what we commonly know as psychics. Those whose abilities to sense spirit and demon auras is very weak are considered Sleepers as their true spirit has truly formed.
What can a Sleeper do?Many Sleepers can sense the presence of the dead though cannot actually see them. It is the same with demons, though the feeling is entirely cold.
Do they have any powers?Yes and no. Most Sleepers cannot truly touch their own abilities though few have been able to push their waking to the point that that can manipulate their own spirit energy to form unique abilities to protect themselves and others.
What type of abilities do they have?Until they are fully awakened a Sleeper may only be able to create small spurts of their power in order to save themselves. [Extreme emotions may trigger their abilities as well] Though most abilities seem to be creating small barriers or weapons.
AwakenedWhat exactly does it mean to be Awakened?A human whose spirit has awakened have the ability to call on their own inner strength and power to protect themselves. They are true psychics!
What types of abilities and such do they have?There are three types of Awakened abilities:
- Mind - the ability to manipulate the soul within the body with outside forces; normally being able to change and create objects with just the mind.
- Body - when the body must change to suit the soul; the body transforms itself into a new form [not always a complete transformation]. The strength of the soul will twist and form the outside appearance to represent itself; examples would be wings, horns, fangs, height, claws, or even a body of rock. [get creative!]
- Soul - when neither the mind or body can hold back the spiritual energy of the soul it may part from its own skin and create another form to represent its new abilities. Sometimes the body is human in appearance, sometimes it is animal, other times it may even appear demon like in form.
Those that use the Mind:If the Awakened has full control of its mind it can manipulate their own spirit energy without the need to change the body and soul. They can freely call on their energy and use it to create massive attacks, weapons, and barriers with ease.
Though as a downfall to the mind is that it can be pushed too far. If a power is used too much the body can begin to shutdown and the mind will collapse. Nosebleeds and unconsciousness are very common when pushed too for too long.
Those that change the Body:With the transformation of the body a human gains the abilities of its new appearance. If given wings they may fly, given claws it can climb, given strength it can hit harder; it all depends on the form it takes.
Though the outside appearance may change it is not the only thing to reshape. The soul of the human grows and it is now able to use more energy to also create minor attacks, weapons, or barriers while in its new form. Still, if overused the body will weaken and will slowly and sometimes painfully return to its true form.
Those that are the Soul:When the body and mind cannot contain its own spirit the soul of the Awakened removes itself from its host and takes on its true appearance. Most are human though some appear animal like or demon like; though each form has the ability to manipulate its own energy.
Though not all can create a weapon from its energy or use its new strength and agility to move about. Some can only create small burst of raw energy while others depends on brute strength. Each one is different.
Considered one of the strongest as well as the weakest form of the Awakened. As a raw form of the soul the body is left defenseless and empty; if it were to be destroyed the soul would be lost. Though as a rule if a wounded soul cannot return to its body in time the soul and body will perish.
What can kill an Awakened?Anything. They are still only human.
