It’s 2016 and all is well in the wizarding world. It has been nineteen years since voldemort died and things could never be more calm. It’s what most of the wizarding world had wanted, a calm outlook on their future, a safe environment for their children to grow up in. Harry Potter is now the head of the auror department in the ministry of magic, as Hermione is head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement in the MoM. Ron, after joining George in Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, became an Auror for the MoM as well. Neville Longbottom is teaching Herbology at Hogwarts and Luna Lovegood became, well, a “naturalist”. Ginny Weasley was part of the Holyhead Harpies for several years before retiring to “start a family” with Harry, but now she is the senior Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.
All seems well, and it has for nineteen years. There had been rumors swirling around that some new dark force would threaten the wizarding world’s peace once again, but nothing ever happened. The rumors of such things died down and settled some ten years ago, but for some reason a rumor popped up once again that a descendant of Voldemort was coming back, and he had powerful magic that hadn’t even been founded yet. This got some folk riffled up and bothered, only because there hadnt been rumors like this for so long and now it may actually be a possibility. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny are calm and believe that this rumor is just that: a rumor. James, on the other hand, has different views. James Sirius Potter has never been one to stay quiet, so after many stories of his father and the “DA”, James got an idea. After collaborating with Albus, Rose Weasley, Fred Weasley, Victoire Weasley and Frank Longbottom they all decided that they should form an alliance, just like the one their families once had.
For these students, they seem accepting on whoever comes into their “group”; they kept the old DA name just for keeps. It was just an idea coming from a bunch of paranoid teenagers, but could this idea be for the best or worst? Will this rumor actually become true, and the person behind all this be sneaking amongst Hogwarts? The staff? Or even the students? Could they infiltrate once again using the most precious thing the wizarding world has to offer: their youth?
