One moment, Harry was ready to vindicate his godfather
and set his own life straight, the next Wormtail was
escaping and Sirius was being locked up with the
Dementor's Kiss seeming all but inevitable. Time
had turned back, and with a little help from his friend,
Harry watched as Sirius rode off into the dawn on
the back of a fugitive hippogriff.
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
The summer came and passed, and Harry felt as alone
as ever. The Dursley's were cruel, his friends far away,
and his one relation now on the run from the Ministry.
Any and all hopes of a future that was brighter seemed
far away and nearly impossible. They had been together
for so brief, yet they felt so close. Their relationship had
quickly blossomed in the span of just one night.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
The school year started once again, and everything seemed to
be going as it had normally. Homework, friendships, potential
relationships. For once, Harry expected to have a normal year.
But with the announcement of the Triwizard Tournament,
everything changed. There was excitement fresh in the
faces of everyone at Hogwarts. The underclassmen are
rather upset, while everyone sixteen and above is offering
their name in hopes of being chosen to have a chance
at the glory of being the Triwizard Champion.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
Now, with the arrival of all the new and foreign students,
Hogwarts is more strange and lively than ever. Friendships
are tried, personal morals put to the test, and one's own will
stretched as far as it can hope to be. No one knows what this
tournament shall hold, but they all know it is very dangerous.
They all know that difficult times lie ahead, and only the strong
will survive.
