I Don't Like Illusions I Can't See

"So, the first time I met Tyler, I was fighting with one of the guys in his group of friends. Not much of a first impression, but tensions were high... I thought he was the shyest guy I'd ever met, that he'd just go along with whatever the other boys said, just to fit in. He caught me running around the dorms one night, singing like a maniac, and we actually talked. Well, I talked, he stuttered, but it was cute. He's not as stereotypical or as cookie cutter as I'd thought, and that's nice. We've kinda been friends since then. I guess it takes a guy catching you in your underwear to realize they might not be that bad..."
"Seriously, I was scared of her. I mean... come on. The girl took on Reid, okay? But... he was drunk and totally deserved it. I just can't admit that to her because, well, it's Reid. Anyway, I ran into her after the party at the Dells, totally soaked and freezing and we started talking. She's a lot less scary when you get to know her. We chilled back at her dorm and watched a flick but nothing happened so don't even go there. Ever since, we've been pretty chill and hang out. She's nice, people just get the wrong impression of her."

"Tyler and I have known each other for quite a long time - actually, he was my first friend when I came to live in Ipswich. Instantly we bonded and we're like each others secret-keepers. I tell him everything and he tells me everything. It's kind of like the brother-sister relationship I never had. I must admit that I love him, but not in that way. I see him as a big brother that will always be there for me and I hope he knows I'll always be there for him."
"What is it with me and the daughters? Seriously I think I'm pretty lucky, you know? I mean, they're all really pretty and they all treat me really great. I'm not 'Baby Boy' with them and that's freaking awesome, you know? She's like a sister I never had so I'm pretty lucky to have siblings outside of the Sons. I can't tell her everything but I can tell her a lot and a lot of stuff I could never tell the boys. She's great and she's just one more person that can bring me out of my shell. Hell, I've been gotten up in a few faces when people thought about messing with her. That was a moment that even Reid said had surprised him but no one messes with my Hayley."

"Tyler Simms. He's.. well, he's cute. Come on. Like you wouldn't agree with me. And he hangs out with the other three guys. They're interesting. I've only talked to them once or twice. Tyler's the youngest, so we don't have classes together or anything. But I've seen him angry. It's.. scary."
"Yeah, I know her. I guess the first thing that caught my attention was her. I mean, she's really pretty and all but everyone knows that most girls are out of my league and she's one of the ones that I can't even dream about so that's the end of that. Then, of course, she's got a really interesting name. She's seen a side of me that few have, outside of the guys, though. Reid pissed me off one day and she saw me a little tiffed. No, she hasn't seen just how bad I can get and she'd know the difference because I threw Reid through the trunk of an oak tree, once. I'm just glad she didn't see me using my powers, over it all."

"I have known Tyler for as long as I could remember, he's like the only person that I can really talk too. Sometimes I feel he's the only one that takes me serious half the time. It's cool to know when I have someone that got my back even if I'm wrong, ha. Though when am I wrong? *thinks*"
"So, if there's one guy I really can't stand in the world, Reid Garwin... isn't him. While he's the worst when it comes to teasing me, Reid's like my big brother. So... they're all like my big bros but Reid's actually lived with me and all that good jazz. He's the first one to jump to my defense, right or wrong, and I'm there for him. We're closer to one another than to Caleb and Pogue but it's not hard to see why. My mom's kind of made him my unofficial keeper and I've never gotten into more trouble."
