Starbucks, hehe! so the typical spot for Miss. Kurkova. She was very well known to hang out here, I mean 3/5 times you could probably find dear Mattie here. Why cause well one it was right next to the shopping centers and two umm do I really need to say it…I mean duh COFFEE, the only thing that keeps Mattie sane at times, and then other times she just very out of luck. She was here everyday though mostly after class when she just needed a little pick me up or something, or on the weekends when she needed something to keep her company while she waited for a friend or something. Or when she just needed another pick me up to keep her shopping energy up. She might not have been a totally girly girl but every girl likes shopping, I mean its like coded in their DNA.

And sometimes she was with the early crew. Yes Mattie was what you would call and early bird, sometimes she woke up at four o’clock a.m just because she can’t go back to sleep and then other times it was a bit later, but most times never past six a.m and she didn’t even need an alarm clock. She even woke up that early on weekends so even if she did have an alarm clock she was sure her roommate would turn it off or bitch or something. It was always like that while her roommate woke up at like eight she was up at six and sometimes the cafeteria wasn’t even opened then and if it was then no one else was there so Starbucks was always her alternative choice. Because they had the best coffee and well it was defiantly better than cafeteria food.

But now back to present, she walked up to the door opening it and walking inside as she walked up to the counter. She had stood in line as she looked up at the menu to figure out what to get, she was never one to get the same thing twice. Or she was never the one to have some sort of usual as some would say. She looked at the menu now what to get what to get everything looked so yummy, and it probably was. When it was her turn in line she had to make up her mind quickly. ‘A Dulce de Leche Frappuccino’ it was one of those flavors that were only an option every so often she collected it and paid for it as she made her way over to a seat and sat down.

[[OOC---Eh sorry its so sucky]]

The mall was one place that every girl loved. Even if you weren't a very the shopping-type of person, the mall always had at least one place that person could literlaly spend hours in. Izzie already knew what stores interested and what stores were just.. so not for her. Anyway, the point was that the mall was actually a good place to hangout. Of course, like any other malll, they had that one place were you always had to go in and Starbucks just so happened to that one place everyone went into.

Izzie had to admit that it was a little early to be getting starbucks, but whatever, she was here, she might as well. As Izzie entered, she was wearing a pair of gray sweat pants with a matching gray hoodie to match. Her black hair was up in a ponytail and even though she wasn't exactly dressed up to be shopping at the mall. She actually did look quite good in the clothes she was wearing. Although it should be known that the reason she was dresed this way was that she had just finished up her morning jog.

It was habit that almost every morning around 6 or so that she would go out for just a jog around the track at Spencer. Usually, joggin gave her some time to clear her head as well as listen to some music on her Ipod. Right now, her favorite music to listen to while jogging was from this band called Shiny Toy Guns. She didn't know what it was, but their music somewhat got her all pumped up and hyper.

The point was that now, she just needed a little pick me up. So, hence the reason for the starbucks. As she waited in line, Izzie's eyes wandered around, until she spotted a familiar face sitting down. Izzie than finally gother turn in line and ordered her vanilla latte. Izzie did the usual pay for the drink and then wait a couple minutes until someone calls your name or says the name of the drink. When Izzie heard someone shout a tall vanilla latte, Izzie raised her hands and then went over to the counter to get her drink.

Izzie grabbed her drink and decided to make her way to that familiar face she spotted earlier. She took a small sip from her coffee. It was slightly hot once she felt the liquid hit her tongue. Maybe, she should wait until it cooled down a little more. Izzie then stood right in front of the familiar person and waved her hand. "Hey, Mattie. Mind if I sit with you?" She greeted her friend in that friendly tone of hers.

Mattie while she was in the line and she was somewhat awake she really wasn’t expecting anyone she really knew to be here this early in the morning. So she really wasn;t on the look out for anyone she might know. Instead her mind was a little distant from the rest of the worlds, even though no thought unparticular striked her mind at all at this moment. It was all rubbish, the new horror movie everyone was dying to see, the new clothes coming out at the mall the new special Starbucks had. Just random things that would cross you mind sometimes if you were a teenager at Spenser.

She also had her face in a double chocolate muffin and her lap top computer which she was just checking up on a few things. Nothing major just a book which she had to read for her English class but she figured spark notes would have all of the in formation she needed to at least pass the test. Normally she was a fast reader and she tended to absorb everything she read to ace the test. But this book was unbelievably boring I mean who wants to read about an old man out at sea trying to catch a fish. No one that’s who, well unless you were aspring to become a fisherman who spends about five days out at sea for one big giant fish you don’t even get to eat.

She typed in spark notes then the title of the book, great they had it on. A nice smile crept across her face as she clicked on chapter one and waited for it to load. She hated the service she got in this place at times, especially since everywhere was now opening so just about every electronic device in a five mile radius was on and being put well to work So all of the signals, radio frequencies and every thing else in that technical term was being warped around each other and interfering.

As she waited as she picked up her frappchino, it was a good flavor she always loved it. Too bad it only comes once a year she thought to herself. As she heard a voice her mind went from her leche frappchino to the voice of someone she knew very well. She looked up duh she knew who that soft voice belonged to – Izzy Mendez. She smiled warmly back at her and nodded “Uh-Huh sure” She said “Ya know your always welcomed” She said, she wouldn’t chase Izzy away she was one of her good friends. And well she really wouldn’t chase anyone away.

Izzie returned her friend's smile as she sat down. The minute she sat down, she took another sip of her latte. It managed to cool down, slightly. Izzie took notice of the laptop that Mattie had with her. Being the curious person that she was. She wondered what her good friend was up to. Maybe it was just report she was working on or something. Izzie knew school had it downside, like the pile of homework that sometimes seemed endless.

That how it was when you attended a prep school. Prep schools had high expectation of their students. Izzie knew that she was a good student and worked her butt off most of the time to keep up or stay a little bit ahead. If you saw Izzie report card, it was probably one of those report cards that most parents wished their staight 'c' student got. Izzie had the brains and sometimes she didn't know whetehr it was a good or bad thing. Maybe inher case, it wa okay, but her mom expected a lot from her since Izzie had an older brother who seemed to almost like a robot. Perfect, in almost every sense of the word.

Izzie managed to escape her crazy thought train and at least remember where she was. So, it was time to at least break into some small conversation with her friend, Mattie. Of course, Izzie knew the easiest way to start a conversation. With a question.

"So, what you up to?" Izzie asked casually, just shrugging her shoulders. SHe picked up her latte again from the table taking another sip before setting it down again.

Mattie looked back at her computer screen as she hitted the down arrow her eyes glancing over every so often to read was on the screen. One thing she hated about laptop was those stupid queer mousse they had on it. They were so confusing at times and it always took her like twice as long to move the mouse than on a regular computer. But then again she really couldn’t go taking a regular computer around. I mean talk about heavy and awkward. I guess some things are worth the convenience she thought to herself. Mattie was a fast paced person most times, and well anything convenient was good with her. I mean instant coffee, spark notes everything today was at the tip of her freshly manicured fingernails. Something she loved about the 21st century.

She really had to read up on this book. Sometimes she wished that she didn’t procrastinate so much and she would have actually read the book but she knew it would turn out all good in the end. Like it always does, she always seemed to work better under pressure and well things always ended out to be excellent for her. The lowest grade she got in English so far was a B plus so that wasn’t too bad for her.

Mattie looked up from the computer as she asked her question, she broke off a piece of her muffin as she let her speak. She shrugged a little bit trying to think about what she had been really up to lately. “Umm nothing really just hanging out and school work” She said and then afterwards gently placed the piece of muffin in her mouth. She felt as it melted a little and began to chew on it, when she was finished she swallowed and took a sip of her Frappchino.

She kept her frappchino in her hand “So likewise what’s up with you?” S he asked back. It was only polite and well she was sort of curious, maybe someones’ life was tad bit more exciting.

Isabel nodded her head as Mattie told her what she was doing and such. She figured it had to be school-related. The laptop was sort of a dead give away. However, Isabel could've been wrong and Mattie could've been working on something entirely different. That was the thing about Isabel, even though she assumed a lot, she still wanted to make sure that her assumption or assumptions weren't wrong. Hence why she alway seemed to ask questions most of the time.

When Isabel heard Mattie ask her the same question, Isabel pretty much shrugged. She took another sip of her latte. It wasn't too hot anymore, so Isabel could now, enjoy it more. As she had taken that sip, she thought about what to say? She really wasn't up to much really. School seemed to be her main focus at the moment. Isabel wasn't much a party person, unless she really needed to get out. Which was most of the time. School was kind of taking it toll, but she was hanging in there, by a small thread.

"Not much. I just did my usual morning jog and I came here to at least get some caffeine in my system."Isabel replied taking another sip. "Nothing eventful, except I'm entering some of my drawings in an art contest. So, hopefully that goes well." Isabel explained. Art was pretty much her thing. Sure, she was good at lot of other things like school and singing. However, drawing was just something she really enjoyed.
