Another day of school was simply just rolling on by. The bell had just rung and Nat was glad to be out of her math class. She had to admit math was not her favorite subject or her strongest. She was just surprised that she even had a decent grade in that class. As Nat walked the hallways of spencer, with her bookbag over her shoulder, she began to drift into her train of thought. Okay, what else do I have to do today? I know I have a free period right now. So, maybe I should go to library and study for that chemistry quiz, tomorrow. Or maybe, I could check out that Oscar Wilde book, I wanted to read so badly. Oh, I could write some more. or maybe...
Nat's train of thought of interrupted when she bumped into someone. As wide as these hallways were, Nat always managed to bump into at least one person. This time Nat managed to bump into a not so friendly person. "Hey, watch where you're going, nerd." the girl said in a rather shrill voice. That voice made Nat wince slightly since she knew that this girl was in one of her classes, her chemistry class to be exact.
"Sorry, it was an accident." Nat said in a sincere voice. Nat didn't like this girl very much, since this girl was also her lab partner a rather dumb one at that. Basically, Nat was the one who did all the work while this girl took all the credit. It was surprising that Nat was actually being nice when in reality, Nat probably wanted to smack the girl in her face or at least put duct tape over her mouth to get rid of that god-awful annoying voice.
"Whatever. Look, just don't forget that we have a chem quiz tomorrow. I mean, if you don't study for it then how am I ever going to pass?" the girl voice was just filled with rudeness.
" Well, maybe if you tried actually studying instead of cheating off me then you might be passing all by yourself." Nat said simply, trying to get eager get away from this girl. So, Nat was about to walked right past her when the girl just simply stood in front of her, purposely blocking her way.
"Please, as long as there little nerds running around like you, I'll never have to study a single day of my life. So, here." The girl shoved a chemistry book in Nat's chest. "I also, you need to do my homework. Enjoy." The girl walked off with a satisfied smile on her face as Nat just simply glared at her. One of these days, I'm going to... I don't know, but I'll do something. Nat thought as she looked at the book in her hands.
" I'm not little." Nat mumbled to herself still holding the chemistry book in her hand. Nat walked off with her head down low. I could've said a lot of things to her. Like, you stupid bitch or inconsiderate whore or damnit, why can't I at least say one good decent comeback? That was Nat was thinking about as she decided to sit in one of the benches that was in the hallway. She didn't even notice that there was someone else sitting on this bench.
