Title: newguy in Spencer
Chase Collins - September 27, 2007 07:42 PM (GMT)
Chase Collins was new in Spencer, the newby. The 18 year old looked around, taking in his surroundings, the school was old interesting. Like everything else here, he liked it so far. The town needed a little more edge to it, he's just the person to be here to do it. The Sons of Ipswich are pretty popular here, he intended to work his way into their little circle. Caleb intrigued him most of all, he was close to ascending, Chase could feel it. It was enough to make his mouth water, he wanted that power for himself. Ever since he ascended his thirst for more had grown to where it was hard for him to even think straight sometimes.
After getting his own father's powers it had helped though now he needed Caleb's. Then he would slowly finish them off one by one until he had all their powers. He'll make Caleb his bitch of course, that'll be fun. Pogue pretty much think he's so bad, he have to take him down a notch, then there's Reid. He could have some fun with him and lastly Tyler. The one that held the pieces together, the missing pieces to their puzzle. He's cute also, he would enjoy messing with him. They're all so tempting.
Dressed in a designer brown polo shirt with nice black jeans and boots. He moved along the halls of Spencer. It was eerie calm at night, he wanted to head out and have some fun. It was always fun to use, he use and Caleb feel him. No sleep for you tonight, Caleb dear.
Lysistrata Dymalis - September 30, 2007 06:11 PM (GMT)
She didn't usually stay in the dorms. In fact, Lysistrata never stayed in the dorm she was assigned. It was more of a backup plan, since she had a room in Samantha's house, specifically for those nights when Dad was trying to be fatherly and lecture her about how she ran her life. Which was funny, because he only started caring when it disrupted his life.
Tonight was the first night this year she'd be going into her dorm. The brunette had wanted to wait longer, see if she could set a record, but was not in the mood to deal with the lectures tonight. She readjusted the strap of her shoulder bag and continued down the hallway, her boots chunking softly on the tiled floor.
With the quiet practice of several years, Lysistrata made her way past the noticeboard. The usual brightly colored pamphlets and notices took away from the darkness of the rest of the school, but not for long. She pressed on, to the right, towards the dorms, chewing her lip. The school was quiet - almost, she thought with a smirk, too quiet. Her gaze dropped down to her left wrist to check the time, but she was startled to find it wasn't there.
The senior stopped immediately and cast her eyes about the dark hallway. The watch was her favorite, a circular timepiece encrusted with purple amethyst. Her mother's. Nervously, Lyza ran her suddenly damp palms along the thighs of her pale jeans, tugged at her dark blue sweatshirt. The school suddenly felt ten times as eerie as it ever had before. Something was not quite right.
She doubled back, towards the entrance hall and through the double doors. The watch was not there. Impossible, she thought. I was wearing it not five minutes ago! Hadn't she? It.. wouldn't be the first time she misplaced something. But her mother's watch? It.. just.. wasn't... likely. She ran her tongue over her chapped lips. Surely, she would find it... It was just a matter of retracing her steps.
But Lyza did not retrace her steps. Absentmindedly, she turned down the hallway leading away from her dorm, eyes focused on the ground. She just had to catch it at the right moment, and then the light would hit it. That's all she needed.
She made it about halfway down the hallway before she realized that someone was standing at the opposite end. At this point, she nearly jumped out of her skin. Her boots made the most embarrassing noise against the tiles, and she flushed a hot pink.
"You nearly gave me a heart attack," she said, trying to slow her breathing down. She blinked a few times, and then stared at the boy. He was about her age, possibly older. Someone she had probably seen around but didn't quite recognize, which was strange, because she at least knew the people she had gone to school with for the last four years.
"Who are you?" Lyza asked, frowning.

The handsome oldest Ispwich brother was getting bored now, he wanted to cause some fun. He could always play with the brothers, they're fun. Maybe he should give Kate a call, make her all weak in the knees and piss off Pogue. Now that's fun. He decided that he would look pretty crazy if he kept standing here looking like a idiot. Oh what to do. He asked to himself as he turned covered in the darkness of the hallway. He could hear the sound of boots moving towards him, his eyes flamed over before expanding to the pitch blackness. Blending well into the darkness around him. He used his telepathy to tap into the mind of the person.
Ah, Lysistrata? Pretty name, lost a watch have we? He thought with a sinister grin and a dark twinkle in his pitch black eyes. He looked to the side and her watch appeared beside him on the floor. He looked back towards her his eyes normal as she got closer. He chuckled to himself when she jumped and put on his charming smile and easy to get along with personality. He stepped up to her and rubbed a hand over his neck. "Sorry I scared you. I'm lost and didn't want to go any further and get further lost." He said with a laugh and shook his head.
He's pretty convincing as he smiled at her. His eyes looking her and he was making it unnoticable. He looked back up to her stepping out of the darkness into the glow of the moon from the window. He moved his hand out to her stepping up to her. "Chase Collins, I just transferred here." He said to her as he looked to side making it seemed that he just noticed the glimmer of the watch. He moved picking it up into his hands from the shadows. "Someone lost this, looks expensive." He said before looking to her.

There was something... odd about this. Lysistrata was usually quick to assume something horrible, or something completely unrealistic... but tonight, here, in the dark, quiet hallways with a complete stranger, her mind was blank. The guy grinned - okay, so THAT was why her mind was numbingly, blissfully blank - and offered his hand.
"Chase Collins, I just transferred here."
She grinned - ugh, LYZA! she told herself, YOU DONT GRIN - but she had anyway. She accepted his hand, gently, and then dropped hers away, hoping to avoid anything..awkward. It happened to her too often as it was.
"Lyza," she said with a brisk nod. So, that accounted for... one of the transfer students. That left one more. Or were there two? She couldn't remember. Eh. Lyza rocked back on her heels, prepared to walk past him and continue the search for her watch, when she caught the faintest glimmer from the tiled floor.
"Someone lost this, looks expensive." Chase leaned down and plucked it from the floor before Lyza realized that it was her watch. Then, with such deliberate precision Lyza would later question his intentions, he tilted his head to the side and watched her.
Lyza swallowed and dropped her gaze to the watch. The way he held it in his hands.. it was almost as if he knew. As if he had planned this. But no, no, Lyza, that would be impossible, she told herself.
"That's mine," she said. Slowly, she stretched forward her right hand, as if to take it from his grip. "Must've... dropped it... earlier.."

Chase thought to himself that this woman was beautiful, soft brown hair, nice eyes. He wondered if she had been here long, do she have a boyfriend. It's always fun to steal a man's girl. Watch the man squirm all bothered and nervous. Angry. It was somewhat of a pasttime for him, though what he enjoyed most was powerful. All in a good time, he licked his lips as he looked over her once again. Eyes shadowed by the shadows and offered her that smile again. He looked her over, seeing the nervous.
He held her as hand for as long as he could before she dropped it and offered her a chuckle. He was charming and playing it good. He smiled a little bashfully with that hint of handsomeness. "Pretty name." He said to her with a nod as he looked around. He was getting bored all ready and had to spice things up. The watch was just the thing, maybe he could get close to her. Ah close, in more ways then one. Hmm, bad Chase. Who me.
He let her pluck the watch from his hand and looked up to her face. "Lucky it wasn't a greedy little jewery hogger that found it." He said ot her as he smiled that charming smile again. "You're out late, what's your excuse. I'm sticking to mine." He said with a laugh and stuffed his hands into his pockets.
