.__vivid perfection“Trapped in a box of tremendous size
It distorts my vision, it closes my eyes
Attracts filthy flies and pollutes in the skies
Sucks up our lives and proliferates lies”
It is 6o years into the future. Things are bound to change. And boy did it change. The word freedom that many countries worked hard to achieve is a word of the past. A rumor, a small hope. The world has finally reached its end in independence. It has fallen to the feet of two men and one woman. They joined the countries of the world into three large nations. These nations are ruled by these men and their separate government. They have complete power over mother earth. No one has enough power or courage to challenge them. There have been signs of resistance in the past but they were squashed like a bug by the dynamic trio as they like to call themselves. Now, every one just bows their head and lead their life the best they can.
North and South America have joined together to form the Aruxis which is ruled by Charles N. Huntington. Europe, Arctic and Africa have been joined together to form the Johl which is led by Walter M. Bale. Asia, Antarctica, Australia and any left over countries form the Void which is led by Alexandra L. Huxley.
“They got me trapped
Can barely walk the city streets
Without a cop harassing me, searching me
Then asking my identity”
The entire world is under military watch. The people of the world have been micro chipped to monitor their life, speakers and cameras are being place anywhere possible. Phone taps have become common and other invasions of privacy is also nothing to be shocked about. However the people have been completely brainwashed. They don’t mind the way they live, especially the younger generation as they have been born into this world. They didn’t know a better world. As the time advanced, so has technology; teleporting, virtual reality, flying cars and many other upgraded items. One of the things that became more common is cloning. Scientists have found a way to make new human beings out of thin air. The cloning technology is only available to the governments. They clone to make sure they are still in power.
The world has also been divided into five classes. These classes are based on intelligence. Alpha, the highest, are the most clever and intelligent. Being born or cloned into this class is a blessing. The Alpha’s can order people around and be smug to others. The Alpha class is made up of government officials and high people. Beta’s are the next in line. They are pretty smart but a bit lazy. They don’t like to work too hard which makes them prefect followers. Gammas are the next in the food chain. They are pretty stupid but they think that they are the best, like the Alphas. The Gammas are the group that have been known to cause the most trouble in the world. And then we have the Delta’s. The Delta’s have the same mental capacity as the Gamma’s but they are ever lazier than the Beta’s! Finally we have the Epsilons. Every society has the untouchables and hardly mentioned characters. The Epsilon’s are pretty stupid but they have amazing strength. They sulk in the shadows, watching people.
“Sweat me, hunted me
Trapped in my own community
One day I'm going to bust
Blow up on this society”
In the Johl area, in an area once called Paris, France is a boarding school: Walter M. Bale Institution for Students. A prefect robotic like-school. Students here wear full white body suits with colored name tags to show their class and name. Green for Alpha, Red for Beta, Purple for Gamma, Blue for Delta and Orange for Epsilon. Students that attend school are encouraged to go outside and have fun rather stay inside and study. They are encouraged to have one night stands, not to have a steady relationship. They are many students who are treat sex as a kiss. It’s that common for some students. Sexuality is an open thing. The reason for this is so that the school doesn’t make smart people to realize what is truly going on with the world. The students feel as though this is as free as they can get. But in reality, it’s a prison.
But slowly there are a few people who are starting to break from the control. They are starting to rip the ropes that tie them down. They see things even though no one has ever known about the world before them. The generation that does know what has been going on have either been brainwashed or sent into exile. What if everything begins to expose itself? Will the world accept it or keep living like they do? Will the leaders give up without a fight? Whatever the answer to those questions may be, the resistance is still rising; slowly but surely. Will you be part of history? Will join the freedom fighters or will you help crush them? It’s your choice. Make it at vivid perfection?.
“She looks in the mirror - her reflection's someone old
Seeing days gone by - she don't need to be told
Feeling a little bit sad, she cries and packs her bags
Remembering a dream, a dream that she'll never have”
