Title: SHUTUP and [ D R I V E ]
Description: tag; hayley

Pogue Parry - September 29, 2007 05:18 AM (GMT)
Pulling his bike to stop at set of red lights he leaned back just to relax till the light turned green. Lucky for him no one was really around even if the light turned green on him. The upside of living a small town hardly was no body drove around when it got dark. Leaving the streets deserted and empty. To some it would look like some horror movie with no cars around. Pogue enjoyed it because it let him roam around Ipswich freely.

Plus it wasn't like the cops could catch him if they saw him speeding. Looking around a little through his helmet a little he noticed only a several lights were on in some of the houses. Meaning it wasn't that late to go riding around and not bug anyone because his bike was loud. Resting his hands back against the handle bars he waited for the light to change green. He paused for a second before seeing another bike pull up beside him.

Raising a brow through his helmet he turned his head. His eyes scanning over what looked like a brand new yamaha who ever it was sure knew how to pick a bike. Smirking he turned his attention back to the lights. Revving at the bikes handle bars slightly he turned his head back to the other drive as in telling him(or her) for a little race. Things around Ipswich got pretty boring. Sure the normal party now and again helped but something a little more interesting could be funner.

Hayley Williams - September 29, 2007 05:36 AM (GMT)
This was the kind of thing Hayley lived for, breathed for. Speeding down the roads at some absurd hour of the night, wind in her face, engine rumbling. It made her heart pound in her ears the faster she went - and, yeah, okay, Hayley wasn't above saying that it was dangerous. It was fun as hell though, and adrenaline junkie she was - she wasn't going to give up this feeling without a fight. No way. Still, she was careful though, wearing a helmet, hair tucked inside. No loose clothing so that it wouldn't get caught in the bike, a pair of jeans on her legs, a motorcycle jacket on her torso.

Ah, her yamaha, her pride and joy. Newly bought, traded her car for the bike. She had never thought about buying a bike, but ever since that day when she'd turned on the tv and saw that race, well - it definately looked like something that Hayley would definate give a go. So she'd traded in her not-so-beloved car for her new bike. It was pretty safe to say that Hayley treated her yamaha like her baby, and put one scratch on it? Oh yeah, she'd smother you in your sleep.

Pulling up at a red light that Hayley had half-considered running, she stopped. Hayley only just noticed another driver out of her peripheral vision, but didnt' really think much of it; until he (or she?) started signalling. A race, huh? Hayley smirked, twisted her hand around the handlebar, revving the engine. If that wasn't a yes, she didn't know what was.

Smirking he leaned forward his hands resting tightly against the handle bars of his Ducatii. Soon as the light turned green he peeled out smoke coming off the back tire as the bike shot forward. At the start of the race Pogue was in the front taking a couple turns a little hard along the way. Luckily he was use the sharp turns due racing by himself when ever he wasn't doing anything.

He could only remember the one time where he crashed his bike. He was fourteen and didn't know better when he took a corner way to hard sending him in to the a bunch of trees. He didn't remember much due to being laid up in the hospital for two weeks with busted ribs and a minor concision. Turning gears again he looked behind him for a second seeing the other rider wasn't that far behind him.

Hayley Williams - September 29, 2007 11:50 PM (GMT)
Almost as soon as the light had turned green, she knew she wasn't racing some rich toyboy with a bike who thought rebelling a little at night would be fun. Okay, so, once upon a time, Hayley herself had probably fit into that category. But as things were, right now, she was more concerntrating on the fact that she was glad that, well, she wasn't racing some newbie. She'd turned a corner and inbetween her musing, he shot off infront of her like a goddamned rocket.

Okay, so, now she was a little pissed off.

She hadn't had her bike too long, but it certainly wasn't the first time she rode one, or, for that matter, the first time she had raced one. So hell if Hayley Williams, self-proclaimed Queen-of-the-Daredevils, was going to get her ass whooped in a race to some random biker off the street. Was she tempted to use? Oh, you bet. Hayley, she wasn't the kind of girl to take defeat easily. But she didn't, chose to take it easy, (a feat she'd later totally congratulate herself for,) and after a couple hard-turns later (and one nearly-scraped knee,) she skidded to a halt at the next red-light, pulling over to the sidewalk. Kicking the brake down but leaving the engine going, she hopped off her bike, pulling off her helmet. She felt a small smirk cross her lips as she leaned a little against her Yamaha, a triumphant expression on her face.

"Surprised to get your ass whooped by a girl, huh?" She said a little loudly, trying to be heard over the rumble of engines.

Pogue Parry - October 1, 2007 06:39 AM (GMT)
It happened way to fast for him to even know what happened. At one point the other biker was behind him the next minute it was in front of him. He blinked a couple times thinking his eyes were just playing tricks with him. Pulling his Ducati to a stop he climbed off the bike and pulled his helmet off. Seeing that it was girl that he had been racing made him shake his head "Wow, Reid is never going to let this down" he said out loud while looking at her.

"Pogue Parry" he said reaching a gloved hand out to her. "So you new to Ipswich?" the dirty blonde said as he shifted his gaze from her and to her bike. "Because last time I checked I was the only person to drive a bike around here. No way..is that RS12?" smiling he bending down at the side of her bike. "I thought these didn't come out till next month" if anyone cared to notice Pogue looked like a kid on Christmas.
