Overall;; Damian’s mission in life, in his opinion, is to hunt magical beings until there are no more, or he dies. This is something that was indoctrinated into him by his father from a young age. Having trained for so long, he is very good at hunting magical beings, and has killed about thirty magical beings, with his first kill being when he was twelve. Ever since his first kill, his bloodlust for magical beings has grown, to the point where he now hunts anyone he believes to be using magic in any way.
Damian is an exercise enthusiast, and tries to find the ones that give him the best results in the fastest amount of time. He is a mainstay of both his local gym, and the one at his school, utilizing whichever one is closer to him. This has not only given him a toned body, but also a love for working out, especially weightlifting. It is something that he does on an almost daily basis as well, feeling that it helps him whenever he plays sports, keeps him healthy, and makes for a more appealing appearance when people look at him.
Damian is a man of very few words for a variety of reasons. Having seen people basically put their foot in their mouth while saying more than is necessary, he’s learned that silence is truly golden. This has nearly happened to him the few times that he did try to have a long conversation with someone, so he no longer does that anymore, so as not to look like he’s stupid. Also, he learned talking too much can bring problems that could be avoided if the speaker got to the point of what he/she wanted to say immediately. Finally, he just doesn’t know what to say in lengthy conversations, so it just seems illogical for him to say more than need be said.
He is an intellectual person, despite what people may think about him, and likes to read the classics. This is not to say that he does it very often, but when he does get the time between hunting magical beings, working out, playing sports, and doing homework for his classes. He also occasionally writes poetry, when he gets bored from doing other things.

History;; Damian Jesse Matthews was born to Lucius Anton, and his wife, Hannah Elizabeth. His parents met each other as children when their fathers took them to their so-called lodge. The lodge was really the meeting place of a secret organization of witch-hunters, and various others that hunted magical beings. Lucius’, and Hannah’s families, however, were the celebrities of the organization, because both families were descendants of famous witch-hunters from Europe. Although neither understood very much about it during their childhoods, once they became thirteen, they finally were told about hunting witches, and how it was their destiny to do it too. Hannah didn’t really like it, but Lucius took to it immediately, going on hunts with the organization, but eventually also on his own. Several years later, he asked Hannah to marry him, and with the way that both families had arranged that the two be married from before they were born, she had little choice, but to agree. Approximately a year after their marriage, Hannah gave birth to their only child, Damian Jesse Matthews.
From the time he could understand what his parents were saying, his parents, and grandparents started telling him stories about how witches, and anyone using magic was bad. This made him associate magic with evil, and had him play the person fighting the wizards when he played as a child. As he got older, his father, and grandfathers started teaching him how to hunt magic users. The training culminated while he was twelve when he went out with several people from the organization, and they caught a witch. Handing him a dagger, he had walked to the witch, a female, and stabbed her, watching her die. Something about that, and the perceptions of magic users made him develop a more brutal streak. That was when he started to not only exercise, for the benefits it presented to his hunting, but it was when he began more brutally killing witches, and taking trophies from his victims’ bodies, such as an article of jewelry, with a lock of hair.
Right before his senior year of high school, Lucius’ job transferred him to Ipswich, Massachusets.
Seeing this as an opportunity to hunt new magical users, they moved into a house there, and Damian was enrolled at Spencer Academy. Ever since he’s come to Ipswich, Damian started to think that there is magical activity in the town, due to several eye witnesses talking about unusual occurrences, which make him very anxious to meet these people, and add their deaths to his kill count.
