september 21st.
September 21st is a day that is well remembered by all current students of Hecklinger College in Cooper, Nevada. It had started off normally. The sun rose, the air conditioning was blasting through the residence halls of the students. For three hours into the school day, students went to and from their classes, life continued on.
1:09 pm.
Lockdown. Confusion. Gunshots. Screams.
The lockdown remained in place for three hours. Three hours the students had to sit in anticipation in their classrooms, study halls, lectures. Three hours of agony, wondering what had happened, three hours trying to figure out why they were sitting in complete silence, holding hands with the people next to them, praying, hoping, wondering.
4:24 pm.
Lockdown breaks. Students run from their prisons, looking for their loved ones, for their friends, their fellow students.
Questions arise.
The news is on the scene, the dean of the school, the admissions officers.
A name surfaces.
Ariana Roberts?
Whispers arise in among the students. Who is Ariana Roberts? What happened to her? Why is she involved in this?
Ariana Roberts is dead.
Seventeen people saw someone kill Ariana Roberts.
Seventeen people think they know who the killer is.
But will they have time to out the person before they get rid of them?
Seventeen different people are now not only witnesses, but suspects.
